ARPnews.org for updates from our ARP churches in the area. Please be in prayer for Pinecrest Presbyterian Church in Flat Rock, NC, Reformation Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville, NC, and City Church of Asheville, NC, as they minister to their church members and communities. Bonclarken Conference Center was hit hard with flooding and downed trees.
The Service
Just as we embrace traditional teachings in our theology, so do we engage in traditional worship. Choir and organ lead worshippers in hymns that have taught and inspired the faithful through the ages. These are interspersed with newer hymns that have won a place in the Church's hymnody because of the strength and integrity of their texts, and the power of the melodies with which they have been paired.
As one family in the Lord, we lift our voices in praise and thanksgiving, profess our belief through the Apostles' Creed, join in intercessory prayer, and hear the Word of God preached and applied to our daily living.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper once per quarter within the context of our regular Sunday morning service, as well as during the Maundy Thursday service.
Amenities
We have a caring and well-staffed nursery for infants and children through kindergarten age.
The church building is equipped with an inductive loop hearing system. Access requires only that one's hearing aid be set on "T-coil."
